Quilting & Fabric Dyeing
Dates: First & Third Wednesday, Beginning September 5 (this may change)
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
Place: Social Studies Room/Art Room
Instructor: Judy West
Fee: $5.00 + cost of fabric & dyes
One of the projects will be doing photo transfers and making a memory quilt with these photos. Also welcome to bring project ideas.

Photo Preservation 101
Date: Thursday, October 11
Time: 5:30pm
Place: Chugwater School Computer Lab
Instructor: Frances Caster
Fee: $5.00 + listed materials
Do you have boxes and boxes of pictures, some of them you might need help to identify. Quick! Before you lose this family heritage, enroll in Photo Preservation 101. In this one-night marathon, we will teach you how to scan, organize, and attach valuable information to your files. Bring your pictures and a CD. You will leave with your CD of your photos that you can store in a safe place, duplicate and share with family and friends, or use to create new prints of these pictures.

Make a Movie
Date: Monday, October 15
Time: 5:30pm
Place: Chugwater School Computer Lab
Instructor: Frances Caster
Fee: $5.00 + listed materials
In just one night you can create a movie to share with friends and family of your most important pictures. You can include pictures, video, music, narration, and text. Come with your pictures (digital and otherwise) and a CD and your creativity. This movie will play on any computer with Windows Media Player. Persons who attend need to bring pictures, music, and a rough idea of the story you will tell.

Photo Art
Dates: Wednesday, November 14
Time: 5:30pm
Place: Chugwater School Computer Lab
Instructor: Frances Caster
Fee: $5.00 + listed materials
Create a special work of art using your own photos in only one night! These projects can be framed, shared or even be created for scrapbooks. Persons who attend this class need to bring at least 6 related pictures (files or photos), storage media (disk, jump drive, CD) and photo paper (ink jet) if you want to print this project that night.

Fitness & Conditioning
Dates: Mondays thru Thursdays, September 3 thru December 20
Time: 3:30-4:30 pm
Place: Weight Room
Supervisor: Jody Ash
Fee: $5.00
Weight room will be open for community use. Tone up those flabby muscles, add size to those you already have, complement your aerobic conditioning and pursue your individual fitness goals. Weight Room will not be open unless you sign up.

Adult Open Gym
Dates: Sundays, August 26 thru December 30
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
Place: School Gym
Supervisor: Kit West
Fee: $5.00
An evening of competitive basketball for adults and students in grades 9-12. Students in grades 7 & 8 may join if they bring an parent/guardian. No children under 7th grade will be allowed.

Coed Volleyball
Dates: Tuesdays, September 4 thru November 13
Time: 6:00 & 7:00 pm
Place: Elementary Gym
Supervisor: Kelly & Stacey Cronk
Fee: $10/person or $15/couple
Players of all skill levels are welcome. Put a team (5 players minimum) together and register. Looking for a responsible person to babysit - please contact Stacey or Jody if interested.

Preschool/Pre Kindergarten
Date: Wednesdays, beginning September 12
Time: 9:00-11:30 am
Instructor: LaCynda Fortik with Jana Straham as backup
Place: Chugwater Community Center
Fee: $8 per day (prepaid) + one time $15 fee for snacks & crafts
Ages: 3-5 (must be potty trained)
Students will be immersed a learning environment with educational games, crafts, activities and songs. Learn social skills and build friendships. Students will need to bring a paint shirt, sack lunch and towel/blanket for naps. Minimum 5 students.

Library Time
Date: Wednesdays
Time: 10:30-11:00 am
Instructor: Darla Teter
Place: Chugwater Library
Fee: No Charge
Ages: Preschoolers
This will be in conjunction with Preschool however, participants do not have to be enrolled in preschool to attend.

Square Dancing and Line Dancing
Dates: Sunday (2 Sundays in October)
Time: 2:00-5:00 pm
Supervisors: Dennis and Terry Baker
Fee: $10
Ages: Must be a high school student or older
Fun activity for the whole community. Need a least 16 dancers for class to make. Deadline to register for this class is September 20.

Line Dancing for Seniors
Dates Mondays, beginning October 1 (6-8 weeks)
Time: 10:30-11:30 am
Instructor: Sigrid See
Place: Chugwater Community Center
Fee: $20 (cover mileage)
For those who are ready to have fun, challenge themselves, and get their feet moving to some awesome line dances. Instruction is innovative, easy and fun and is for all shapes, sizes and ability. Deadline to register is September 20

Sunshine Generation
Dates: Tuesdays beginning September 11
Instructor: Linda Fabian (Dance Wyoming)
Fee: $25 / month plus performance costume required ($77) [sibling discount]
Ages: age 3 to Kindergarten 3:30-4:30pm
Children 1st to 3rd Grade 4:30-5:30-m
Your child will benefit by:
• learning how to dance and sing to age appropriate music
• learning how to interpret music
• learning the value of exercise as it applies to dance theory
• gaining social skills
• increasing their self-confidence and much more
• public performances will be held approximately every three months and at special community events throughout the school year.

Teen Jazz
Dates: Thursdays, Beginning September 13 (deadline to register September 5)
Instructor: Linda Fabian (Dance Wyoming)
Fee: $25 per month (sibling discount available) plus minimal costume required
Ages: Grade four through eight 6:00-7:00pm
Grade nine through twelve 7:00-8:00pm
Dance Wyoming Jazz students will benefit by
• learning how to dance to age appropriate music
• learning how to interpret music
• learning the value of exercise as it applies to dance theory
• gaining social skills
• increasing their self-confidence and much more
• public performances will be held approximately every three months and at special community events throughout the school year.

Golf 101
Dates: Mondays & Wednesday, beginning October 22
Time: 3:30-4:30 pm
Instructor: Steve Pollock
Fee: No Charge
Ages: Grades 3-8
Beginning golf for kids. Kids will practice the basics of the golf swing. No clubs needed. Open to students in grades 3-8.

Acrobatics
Dates: Wednesdays, beginning September 26 - November 14
Time: 3:30-4:40 pm
Instructor: Marika Anderson
Fee: $10
Ages: Boys and Girls ages 4-10 years old
Activity will focus on simple acrobatic exercises and stretching: backbends (bridges), cartwheels, round offs, walkovers, head and hand stands, front and back overs. There will be an emphasis on the importance of core strength and body control in acrobatics.

Country Swing Dance
Dates: November
Time: TBA
Instructor: Jean, Russ & Abby Rux
Fee: $10
Deadline to sign up is October 19. Need at least 10 dancers for class to run.

Strong People/Strong Bones
Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays, October 2 - November 30
Time: 10:30-11:30am
Place: Chugwater Community Center
Instructor: Christine Pasley, University Extension Educator
Fee: $10 - Scholarships available on request
Research shows that strengthening exercises are safe and effective for women and men of all ages, including those without perfect health. People with health concerns often benefit the most from an exercise program that includes lifting weights 2-3 times each week. Christine Pasley, University Extension Educator will provide a program on Strong People/Strong Bones. Benefits of this weight training, from Tufts University, may include arthritis relief, better balance, stronger bones, weight maintenance, improved glucose, increased self-esteem, sleep improvement, and increased aerobic capacity. Bring a water bottle, your exercise mat or towel, and your dumbbells and ankle weights, if you have them. Weights will be provided, if needed. Dress comfortably for exercise. A class of at least 5 participants will be held. Fewer will indicate cancellation. All are welcome.
